2. Non profit

AJ McLean Online is a non-commercial website run by a fan. It does not make any profit. For now all cost are covered by the owners of the site. In the future we may consider having sponsors or advertisers on our site to financially support us. We will still remain non-profit - should we ever get more money through sponsoring than needed for running this site, we will either use it to offer new services or donate it to a charity project of our choice.

3. Benefits of Joining

a) AJ McLean Online Services - Joining our community will give you access to a lot of our services. Our services are free! And they will remain free.

b) Service Limitations - We will try what we can to give you the best possible experience at AJ McLean Online. However, there can always be technical or other difficulties over which we have no control. These difficulties may result in loss of data or other service interruptions. We cannot assume responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user data, communications or personalization settings.

c) Service Changes - For whatever reason it may be neccessary to change or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service at any time without notice. You agree that AJ McLean Online will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of the service.

4. Privacy Policy

AJ McLean Online tries whatever it's best to protect your privacy.

We leave it up to you what information you provide about yourself when you sign up. Be advised that everything you tell us is visible to everyone, so think twice about what you enter in your user details. There's one exception, we require that ever member gives us a valid email address. Rest assured that these addresses are stored well protected on our server and not visible to visitors of our site (unless you choose to make it public, that is). Nobody besides the webmaster of this site has access to them and they will never be passed on or sold. Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information in our public areas such as message boards that information can be collected and used by others.

A word about cookies: cookies are small bits of information that a website can store on your computer and that this website (and only this website and no other) can read when you come back later. AJ McLean Online uses cookies to store your login information and some of your personal settings to your computer so you won't have to sign in and set everything up again every time you come back - that's all, and nothing else.

We require every article to be well researched, we do not publish articles based on rumours or hear-say. If you base your article on another (from our or any other site) include the source. Do not include your personal opinion in the article, use the comment feature (see below) instead. We reserve the right to edit your stories where necessary. The decision wheter a story is being published or not will be made by the AJ McLean Online webmaster and is final!

[2] Message Board and Comments - AJ McLean Online believes in the freedom of speech. However, in our comprehesion freedom of speech ends where the rights of other individuals are harmed. Therefore we ask you to pay attention to the views and feelings of others and how your statements may affect them. Treat everyone with respect. We reserve the right to edit or delete certain posts if we consider them offensive or disturbing in any other way.
